The AAT Level 3 Diploma in accountancy course contains six modules:

The Synoptic Assessments will check your overall understanding of a range of subjects. There are specified times of the year when you will be able to take your Synoptic Assessments, called the ‘Synoptic Windows’. For this advance Level, the Synoptic Window is available six times per year, usually every other month.

This exam is specific as it will also comprise questions from the first three units of level 2, i.e. bookkeeping transactions, bookkeeping controls and elements of cost.
