AAT Level 2

The AAT level 2 certificate in accounting is the initial level on this qualification route. If you are new to this field or want to brush up on your basic skills, this would be the best level for you to start. Studying this qualification will equip you with a variety of basic accounting principles and techniques, from estimations and double-entry bookkeeping to computerised accounting. During this level, of course, you will learn financial management skills, e.g. double-entry accounting, and purchase, sales and general ledgers. You will grow the necessary knowledge and skills to support you to understand and use a cost recording system within a firm, including its use for record or extract data and using spreadsheets to provide info on budgeted income and expenditure.
