How Can You Find AAT Exam Centre?

If you want to sit for an AAT exam, you have to contact your nearby AAT exam centre to make a booking. We provide you with all types of AAT exams here at our centre which takes place from Monday to Friday at an hourly time slot from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. To book a slot for the exam, you must call or email one week in advance. For instance, if you want to take an exam on a Wednesday, please call the Wednesday before. Assessment fee should be paid on the day you call to book to confirm your time slot. The fee to registering for an AAT exam is

  • AAT- Level 2: £80
  • AAT- Level 3: £80
  • AAT- Level 4: £90

AAT Assessments

When studying an AAT level qualification, your understanding and skills will be tested via computer-based assessments -CBAs. These are managed by AAT training providers or AAT assessment centres /AAT test centre and run completely on PCs or laptops.

Computer-Based Assessments

Computer-based assessments- CBAs are marked one of three ways:

  • Completely computer marked, and so results will be accessible automatically
  • Partly computer marked and partially human marked, and so results will be available within six weeks
  • Completely human marked, and so results will be obtainable within six weeks.

AAT Assessment Fee Structure

As an accountancy learning student, you will be capable of doing all your studying from home. Still, when it comes to sitting your exams, you will want to sit them at an approved aat exam centre and venues. There are 200 plus AAT approved centres across the UK, so you should be capable of finding at least one that is not also far away from where you live. AAT Venue Finder

AAT has its own AAT venue finder feature on its official website to find nearby aat exam. You have to choose the level and assessment type first then it suggests you AAT exam centre. To book for an exam you need to contact your nearby exam venue using their official contact details. Available dates and times will depend on the exam centre, and they can differ quite a lot – some will contain exam sittings on weekends or evenings. In contrast, others might only have exam slots once or twice per week throughout normal working hours.

Separate unit assessments are available on availability, but assessments are sat at certain times of the year normally at the end of the qualification year. At the foundation, professional and advanced levels (level 2, level 3 and level 4), all unit assessments are marked, and your result will be available within 24 hours on you’re my AAT account -AAT student portal. The AAT marks synoptic assessments, and you will obtain your result after about six weeks. At professional, which is the fourth level of AAT, all exams are marked by the AAT and results will also take around six weeks to come through.

  • Your full name as per AAT’s records
  • Your AAT membership number
  • Your date of birth
  • Your chosen exam slot; please provide a second preference if possible
  • The assessment you wish to take

Once we have confirmed booked slot your exam, we will send you an email of confirmation along with the payment details.

Collection of Result

Once you come up with your exam, the result report is issued. The administrator will issue your certification with a printed breakdown of your performance in the exam.You’ll need to select a training provider for preparing this qualification to sit in an exam. You’ll sit your AAT synoptic assessment when you feel prepared, as agreed with your training provider institute. Synoptic assessments are planned to test your understanding of connections between the different topics studied across the qualification.
